1-Pass is now no longer being sold or supported
by Omega One. Feel free to view the online help, but e-mail
technical support queries are no longer being serviced.
Great skins!
Many thanks to 1-Pass customers for
these amazing skins to customize your copy of 1-Pass. The
1-Pass themes below are packaged up an ready to go. Just click
on an image below to download all the images for that theme.
Unzip the file to a folder on your PC, then copy them to the
folder the 1-Pass images were installed to your Pocket PC
(usually \Program Files\OmegaOne\1-Pass\Res). Note, at the
moment these themes don't support VGA Pocket PCs.
To copy the files to your Pocket PC:
- Dock your Pocket PC with your PC.
- Open a folder window with your image files in it on the PC.
- Right click on the ActiveSync tray icon on your PC and
select Explore.
- In the Window that is displayed, navigate to the folder
resources folder under the folder 1-Pass was installed to on
your Pocket PC (usually \Program Files\OmegaOne\1-Pass\Res).
- Drag the image files from the PC explorer window to the
Pocket PC window.

Creating your own theme
Various images can be changed on 1-Pass. To do this, the image
should be created as a PNG file on the PC, then transferred to
the Pocket PC. Some images allow certain portions to be
transparent. Note, the color 1-Pass uses to denote
transparency is magenta (RGB 255,0,255).
To create PNG files, use graphics creation products which will
output this format. One excellent product for this is
PMView Pro.
The existing 1-Pass images are stored in the folder 1-Pass was
installed to (usually \Program Files\OmegaOne\1-Pass\Res). It
may be useful to make a backup of these files before altering
them using these skinning instructions.
The images will now be on your Pocket PC. To make sure the
images get updated, you should do a soft reset. However in
most cases the next time 1-Pass displays it will display the
new images.
Background Image
The default background image can be swapped to any other
image, for example a photo you particularly like. To do this:
- Create a PNG file 240x320 for QVGA Pocket PCs, or a
480x640 image for VGA Pocket PCs.
- Rename the file QVGAPortrait.png for QVGA images,
and VGAPortrait.png for VGA images.
- If your image needs to be landscape (320x240), the file
should be named QVGALandscape.png or VGALandscape.png
for VGA images (480x640).
Soft Key Button Images
The numeric keys at the bottom of the password can be altered.
This is done with two image files:
- The button is a collection of two images, the normal
button and the "pressed in" button. Each button size is 45x37
pixels, hence the total size of the image is 90x37 pixels. The
filename should be QVGAButtons.png (or
VGAButtons.png for VGA devices, in which case the image is
180x74).
- The numbers for the buttons is a large bitmap containing
12 numbers & symbols. Each number / symbol is 17x18 pixels.
The total size of the bitmap is 204x18 pixels. The order of
the numbers is 0123456789←X. The filename should be
QVGANumbers.png (or VGAButtons.png for VGA devices,
in which case the image is 408x36).
On both of these images magenta is used as the transparency
color.
QVGA
Included here are transparent buttons, plus new buttons
kindly submitted by Christian Valder. Copy the button bitmap
to your PC, rename it as QVGAButtons.png and copy it to the
\Program Files\OmegaOne\1-Pass\Res folder on your Pocket PC.
The next time 1-Pass displays this image will be used.

The numbers file below should be used with the transparent
buttons. Again, copy the file to your Pocket PC as described
above.

Title Bar Image
The blue title bar at the top of the screen can be changed.
This image can be changed to any size, but the origin will
always be at the 0,0 location at the top left of the screen.
Magenta is the transparency color.
The filename should be QVGATitleBar.png. For VGA
devices the file is VGATitleBar.png.
Clock Face Image
The clock face is 74x74 pixels (or 148x148 on VGA devices), and uses magenta as the
transparency color. The filename should be
QVGAClockFace.png or VGAClockFace.png.
QVGA
Copy one of the images below to your PC, rename it as QVGAClockFace.png
and copy it to the \Program Files\OmegaOne\1-Pass\Res folder on your Pocket PC.
The next time 1-Pass displays this image will be used.
VGA
Copy the image below to your PC, then copy it to the
\Program Files\OmegaOne\1-Pass\Res folder on your Pocket PC.
The next time 1-Pass displays this image will be used.
